Tortona, Via Ezio VanoniPLT Costruzioni works again for the prestigious DIY chain Mondo Brico.
The DIY chain Mondo Brico has opened the construction site of its new store in Tortona (AL), entrusting PLT Costruzioni with the work; the team fielded is the same one that previously built the store in Casale Monferrato. The large staff of designers sees the participation of firms such as Studio AZeta which will be in charge of architectural design, public works, fire prevention, site safety and administration, the firm of engineers Valenzano for the structures, Studio B2 for the design of the systems and thermal insulation, as well as the engineer Pietro Paolo Mutti. PLT will use the technical assistance of Bcube studio for construction and value engineering aspects.
The building will cover a total area of nearly 4,500 square meters on a land area of 14,000 square meters; the project also involves public works such as
the implementation of a major reshaping of SP 99 with the construction of a French-style traffic circle to mitigate the impact on the road system of the new commercial structure.
The sensitivity of the Client to environmental aspects then imposed to the designers a series of interventions that go in the direction of energy containment and that imply the realization of a major photovoltaic system integrated to the roofing, the realization of an integral coat coating and a thermal system with third generation radiant panels.
Another important intervention required by the Client is the adaptation of the structure to DL 74/2012 on earthquake resistance, the first example in the province of Alessandria of integral application of the standard.
The contractual arrangement adopted is Open Book so as to start the construction site in the shortest amount of time and in the absence of a set of definitive projects; in fact, the timeframe imposed by the Client is contained and this method allows the financial strength of the Client, the organizational capacity of the General Contractor and the production capacity of the Subcontractors to be managed in perfect synergy.
The entrustment of the work gives a sign of continuity to the fiduciary relationship established between Mondo Brico and PLT Costruzioni confirming the quality of the work previously carried out together.
